Panama Elida Estate Vuelta Geisha Washed
Panama Elida Estate Vuelta Geisha Washed
RASPBERRY | WHITE TEA | FLORAL
At the turn of the century, Robert Lamastus started farming coffee on the outskirts of the Baru Volcano in Boquete, Panama. Generations later, Wilford and the Lamastus family continues to grow coffee in Boquete, expanding to multiple estates and producing some of the best coffees in the world.
At Elida Estate, the farm benefits from the biodiversity of the neighboring Volcan Baru, and a unique microclimate influenced by both Atlantic and Pacific oceans. At these high altitudes, the Geisha variety thrives, and the Lamastus family focuses on maximizing the flavor and potential from each parcel of their farm.
This coffee is an ASD washed lot from the Vuelta lot, one of the highest lots on the farm in full production, with coffees from this parcel winning multiple competitions. In the cup, we find sweet berry flavors, white tea complexity, and a floral aftertaste.
