The Miroroma factory is operated by the Kanyenyaini Farmers Cooperative Society, where smallholder producers farm on around 600 hectares in Githiga. Many producers in this region are multi-generational farmers, which has helped sustain coffee production over the years.

The cooperative remains committed to sustainable practices in the region, including organic farming, soil regeneration, and processing methods, all with the aim of strengthening the community and build resilience in the face of changing agricultural and economic landscapes.
