Hacienda La Papaya is located in the southern region of Ecuador, where Juan Peña operates his principal farm. Here, Hacienda La Papaya produces high quality varieties, as well as operating as a research farm to support Juan's larger exporting operations, Cafexporto.

At these high elevations and climate, Geisha takes years to produce, with trees taking much longer than usual to bear fruit. However, this extended time leads to noted complexity, with the Geisha that grows at Hacienda La Papaya developing into a unique expression of the variety, that is uniquely from this region of Ecuador.

This coffee is processed as a natural, with Juan's meticulous processing and attention to detail creating balance in the cup. We experience sweet stonefruit and grape, with a floral jasmine quality.
