BLACKBERRY | GRAPEFRUIT | CARAMEL
Thuti factory is the founding wet mill for the Othaya Farmers Cooperative Society, built in 1958 in the Gatugi village. The Othaya Farmers Cooperative Society is comprised of 300 half-acre farms and 19 different factories.
This coffee sees a 16 hour dry fermentation in tanks, followed by a six hour soaking. The coffee then passes to raised beds to dry for 14 to 20 days.
This year, Thuti brings lots of juicy blackberry and bright grapefruit flavors, with a dense sweetness like caramel to round out the prized acidity in this coffee.
