Ethiopia Hamesho Kebina
Ethiopia Hamesho Kebina
CHERRY | BLACKBERRY | BLACK TEA
Hamesho Kebina is a coffee processed at the Karamo washing station, led by Faysel Abdosh Yonis. Having grown up in West Harar, Faysel started his own exporting company in 2009, working to develop communities within coffee producing regions and creating access to global specialty markets beyond the local market.
This particular lot from Karamo undergoes all of the attention to detail and care that Faysel’s team employs, with strict sorting and density tests to ensure the best overall quality. As is crucial with naturally processed coffees, the coffees at Karamo are carefully dried on raised beds with specific levels of sun exposure and moisure in mind, which leads to the best quality in the cup once the coffee has been roasted.
Hamesho Kebina has a sweet summer fruit quality in the cup like cherries and blackberries, with the texture and finish reminding us of a high quality black tea.
